Transit of Venus - 8th June 2004

I was lucky to have seen this as there was cloud around that day. The top left image was taken at 07:20 UT and my first view of the transit. The top right image (around the mid point of the transit) was at 09:46UT. The bottom image at the point of 3rd contact was at 11:07 UT. By 11:21 UT there was just a sliver of Venus seen and a couple of minutes later, the transit was over.

These images were taken with my Televue Genesis fitted with a Mylar full aperture filter using eyepiece (21mm) projection and a Fuji Finepix S5000 DSLR
